Description: The purpose of Marine Reach is to provide basic medical care, medication, and minor surgeries to populations in the remoted island of the South Pacific. Mobile teams on different ships visit islands where people have limited access to medical care to provide for them.

Nursing: Nurses can choose which type and speciality mission as well as which parts of the South Pacific they visit during two week expeditions.

Funding: Volunteer pays for transportation to Tauranga, housing/food provided while aboard ship

World Surgical Foundation

Description: This NGO holds 5-10 day surgical camps, performing hundreds of free surgeries per camp. They also promote sustainable healthcare by training physicians and nurses as well as donating medical equipment and supplies.

Description: Thousand Smiles Foundation provides free dental care and procedures in the region of Baja California, Mexico. Providers can volunteer for multiple 2 day mission trips to provide care for the underserved population at the Ensenada Clinic.
